Black Tie Race Night -

We are busy with preparations for the Race Night to be held at Lydiard House on May 8th. The People's Development Partnership have kindly sponsored the evening and we are still looking for small businesses to sponsor individual races.
Tickets are now on sale and cost £20 which will include champagne, canapes and your race card.
There is also the opportunity to be even more involved! For just £3 you can name a horse in a race and for £5 you can choose to be a jockey or a race horse owner! Winning owners and jockeys win a prize on the night!
Please email us if you would like to buy tickets or would just like some more info

The Great Fat Cow Bake Off!

What a wonderful day and evening! We had 10 ladies and 10 gentlemen all geared up and ready to bake at Isambard School last week. None of them knew what they would be baking until they opened their recipe on the day and they were being filmed all the way through by Tammy and Tony from Piranha Films. So we turned up at the school in the morning to find that the water and gas had been turned off! Thanks to the wonderful Lindsay, we were back on track in no time and the day went without a hitch. It was such good fun and we even had the very lovely Mel Giedroyc phoning in to give us a 'Ready, Steady...Bake!' Photos to follow, but in the meantime have a peep at the trailer for the film that was made on the day...

Music Marathon

The Music Marathon organised by Sarah Heads was a huge success! 13 hours of back to back live music at Swindon Town FC was simply amazing. Three very brave ladies had their heads shaved to raise even more money! A massive thank you to Sarah for all your hard work and continued support for RFCF xx

Fat Cow Bash - Welsh Style!

A wonderful evening of fun, music and dancing at Canolfan Cae Cymro, Ruthin. Excellent music and entertainment from The Chocolate Candy Band and a great get-together for family and friends. The Chocolate Candy Band enjoyed being on tour and hope to do it all again soon!

Fat Cow Day - Lethbridge School

Once again, all the boys and girls from Ruby and Jemima's school dressed up as little cows or in black and white clothes for this special day in June. There was milk shake and cookies as well as fun and games throughout the day. The children loved our new pocket-money priced merchandise and there was a lovely buzz all day. The highlight of the day for us was the opening of 'Ruby's Garden' in the KS1 playground. There is now a place for children to go and sit (Ruby's bench) and the flowers were chosen by Jemima and her best friend, Coco. Many thanks to Miss Sowden and Mr Lee for working so tirelessly to get the beautiful garden ready in time. Jemima is very proud!

Roves Farm

Roves Farm have recently announced that they have chosen RFCF to be their Charity of the Year! This is particularly lovely as Ruby used to spend many days there, especially before she started school. Katie remembers the party Ruby had there and we all have very special memories of times spent there. Thank you to all at Roves for remembering Ruby in such a wonderful way. x
